Song shortcuts?

Is it possible to create desktop shortcuts of individual songs? I see how to create a shortcut for a full playlist but I would just like to do it for a couple of songs. I have an unrooted Droid 1, if that matters.

What if you just made a playlist that consists of the one song you want for your shortcut?

I guess that's one way to do it but that's going to make for a messy music app.

Yeah, it was just a thought ... I don't use my phone for music all that much, so I was just throwing the idea out there.
