So can apps be stored on a mem card or not?

Im reading conflicting information on this. I read somewhere that there was an app that allowed it, somewhere else said it could be done out fo the box and somewhere else said we have only the 256mb of internal memory for apps.

Whats the deal?

I think if you have your phone rooted you can, I know there are some ppl working on an app to allow you to save apps to your SD card, but for right now, no.

256mb is actually a lot of room for apps, unless you never delete one... haha
