Does anyone know how to adjust the controls of the emulated games? Thanks for your help.

It's in the menus. Have you looked at them at all? IIRC Settings and then Key Mappings.

One thing that I find REALLY helps out with controls is by setting the screen to upside down so that you can use the D-pad with your left thumb. If you have the scaling mode set to Keep Aspect Ratio, there are black bars on either side of the game so your thumbs won't cover any of the action!
