Sms not sending

I can make calls, receive e-mails, but whenever I send a text i get a picture of an envelope with a clock on it next to the message. Any help is appreciated

try pulling the battery for 10 secs put it back in send sms

that worked. what was the problem? and also my wife just recieved 6 texts at once. oh well

not sure the only thing I can say its new device and the on 12/11 we should get the firmware upgrade and that will stop this from happening!

Have you tried updating your phone? I am not sure if you are new to Verizon, but they recommend you call *22899 and your phone will be updated with the latest roaming. Only once a month. Also, as suggested already, do a battery pull. I was having other issues and it fixed them as well. I was a BB Storm owner, Moto Droid is not perfect, but I am much happier.
