SMS Backup only saving my replies

I installed Backup to Gmail to save my texts from my Droid 2 to my Gmail but it seemed to be saving only what messages I sent out, not any of the incoming ones. I started using SMS Backup but it's doing the same thing. Is there an app that will backup the entire text thread?

I have the same problem using SMSbackup on my Droid 2. I enabled IMAP in my Gmail settings and now that seems to have worked. I don't receive the messages in a threaded view. Instead each side of the conversation shows up in its own email. Not ideal, but at least I've got them. The developer says it a problem with Motorola, not with the program.
