SMS Attachments

i am unable to download the attachments that come through, is there a trick i should know about, any assistance would be appreciated.

I know you normally just press on a picture and a menu pops up to save an attachment in sms. However - in 1.1.1 i long press on a picture in sms and the menu flashes real quick (Says "Slideshow" & "Menu" at bottom). But it is so fast and i am unable to do anything??

Anybody run into this? I searched the forum and did not see anything.
