SkyDroid Golf GPS

I just got my Inc. and used it with Skydroid while playing golf. The app works great but the battery is not up to the task. Would it make sense to turn it off and on to save juice or would the start up over and over use more?

Any thoughts?

I justed this program Saturday and Sunday and just left the program running, but went back to the home screen. Then when I got to the next hole I just launched the program changed holes and my battery lasted great all day..
