Simple question/Deleting bookmarks

Open the bookmark list, long press and pick delete.

If you're trying to do it from one of the home screen widgets then you wont be able to I don't think.

Open your browser, hit Menu, hit Bookmarks, then press and hold for like 1 or two seconds and then the option to delete will be towards the bottom.

There is no bookmarks in my menu. Could I have changed something by accident.
