Signal changes alot

In my dorm room i sit in the same spot all day and Signal jumps from full 3g to nothing and back and forth all day, its like my signal is random. Any suggestions?

Don't yell at me but have u done *228 option 2? I had the same issue til I did that. I know.....basic but I had to ask.
