side tray question

I don't use the "side tray" but I can tell you that the app needs to be designed to be enabled there or it can't be added. Wish I could tell you more at the moment. Maybe someone else who does use it can help.

The "side tray" is for multi-view apps. Multi-view is where you can run two apps at the time time on the screen. Currently only multi-view apps can be in this tray. :(

Yeah only certain apps can do this.

I though I would really like the multi task aspect of this, but I find that I rarely use it.

If you open the multi-view tab/bar, there should be an "edit" option - this will show you what apps are available and you can remove / add here.

If you have rooted your device, you can use the "multi view manager" from the Play Store to add more apps.

If you are not rooted and have not desire to be - you could check out the app SideBar in the Play Store - it does not do multiview (use 2 apps at the same time) but the side bar is accessible at all times and you can then access another app without backing out of something else...

Play Store Links...

SideBar (there is a free & paid version, link is for free) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mohammad.adib.sidebar.lite&feature=nav_result

MultiWindow Manager (also a free & paid version but link is for free) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bjbinc.multiwindowmanager&feature=nav_result
