Shut down

My tbolt was on and i picked it up to use it and it was off... I couldnt turn it back on. I plugged it in and it was like no power going to it. I took battery out and put back in and it was fine. This is my first smartphone... Is this normal sometimes?

Sometimes these things happen it is rare but if the problem continues go back to Verizon and exchange it for a new phone.

I've had mine just short of 3 weeks and that's happened twice. Each time I simply turn it on again and alls well.

How low was the battery when you put it down?

Not low at all. Probably at least 75%.
