i've always read that apps like lookout or any other mobile security/antivirus is unnecessary on android and can possibly create problems. however, i've been browsing some android news sites, and many of them are mentioning new malware found in the play store. some even from trusted developers and websites. so is lookout needed now with these new threats popping up? and if so, how bad is lookout on battery life? my battery life already sucks. i would hate to make it even worse.
