shortcuts for apps keep dissapearing...

I have folders and shortcuts to apps which sometimes dissapear...anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it??

I have the same problem. I've had apps dissappear randomly and some widgets not show up on my home screen. I do a reset and they work fine. I've also had my quick contacts randomly rearrange multiple times, as well. I thought I was crazy

Mine did this as well. But it seemed to be a problem with Go Launcher, then an Update fixed it.. but, maybe I was just lucky I suppose and it was cause of the phone then randomly fixed.

i was running stock launcher and had this problem as well, switched to launcher pro and the problem went away....

Did you move these apps to sdcard(Media area)? If so try moving them back to phone. Since the phone has 2GB set aside where the apps get installed anyway you probably don't need to move them unless you are installing a whole lot of apps

Glad I'm not the only one that's having this problem. After my recent GIngerbread OTA update, and the subsequent bugs that have come up, I moved several apps to the SD card to retain my data should the phone decide to self destruct.

Now, each time I connect to the computer via USB, those apps that are now on the SD card disappear from the home screen. I can put them back, but it's a real pain in the butt. Moving them back to the phone isn't really a good option because of potential loss if the phone gives up the ghost.

Is there anyone who knows of a fix?
