Can I share apps I had already purchased on my phone with my wifes phone? I have a DroidX she has a Droid Incredible.

That's stealing. It's up to you ultimately.

Is it stealing when you allow your wife to watch the cable TV subscription that is only in your name? I'm sure you and her both have paid for it seperatley, right?
Same with power.....
Same with water..... surely you pay for and use seperate water meters for each member of the family right.

Every phone I have on my family plan uses the same Gmail account as the main account. (MyFamilyname)@Gmail.com and then we each have our specificname@Gmail.com on our individual phones.

As the main phone account, I control what apps go on the phones and I can see what apps are downloaded through Google.

BRILLIANT!

Seriously, that was a very savvy move.

I was actually wondering about this in terms of the Amazon Appstore. A tablet is probably on our horizon, and if I have some DLed apps I want on there and my husband has some DLed apps he wants on there, so how would that work? I'm not sure if the apps would stay once a person logged out of Amazon tho...

I could see how this would be construed as stealing, but if it's an app you got for free anyways...? I don't know, it's kind of a gray area.
