Service in Alaska?

I'm heading to the great, white north that is Alaska this summer. I'm working on a commercial fishing crew that my family runs. I got great service on the beach where I live, but I haven't been up there with a smartphone. Does anyone know if there is data coverage there? Specifically the Kenai peninsula. Thanks!

Verizon use in Alaska

I go to the Kenai Peninsula every summer and use my very old Verizon Motorola while there. Our cabin is north of Kenai near Nikiski. Also use it in Soldotna and I am pretty sure have used it in Homer. Don't know about Seward. Where is your commercial boat out of?
