Seperate SMS message by date?

Playing with my new Droid and this issue came up-Is there any way to change settings so SMS messages are in chronological order instead of grouped by sender? I have some messages I would like to keep and some I would like to delete but when grouped by sender I only seem to have option of deleting whole thread.

press and hold the message you want to delete and then the option to delete just one mess will appear
