send longer video via text message

I can only send a video via text message if its only like 10 seconds long. is there anyway to be able to send a longer video? l

Not sure about your specific device but just a thought. When in video mode if you go through all the settings are there different camcorder options? The quality may be a bit lower but it will allow you to send longer videos.
