Selling Droid X on EBay

I upgraded my phone and want to sell my Droid X and all my accessories on EBay. Not sure on how to reset the phone to it's original state and swipe all my data off it? Just want to make sure all my private data is gone. Also, it is a Verizon phone, with no account/contract attached to it, so do I list it as locked or unlocked, and a Verizon phone? Thanks for your help.

I would say it's locked since you used it for Verizon. Someone would have to unlock it themselves if they wanted to use on a different carrier, which isn't that hard.

I did the factory reset, and it seems to have worked. I get the Welcome to DroidX screen, the one you have to touch the Droid to begin. Is it safe to assume everything (all my personal info) is off the phone. I just don't want to ship it with anything on there. Just a little worry ward...

I am shipping the SD card, it gave me the option to wipe the SD card on the Factory Reset. I said yes. So I should be all set??

It is not "unlocked" but you would list it as a "clear ESN". As it was activated on a line and deactivated with the account in good standing. If you say unlocked, ppl will assume that it is rooted or something else like that.

The answer is 42.
Oh, wait, you mean to tell me you need to know the question now?
Well, I can't answer that.
