Security Patches Included In New Nexus Factory Images

Google recently made a promise to release monthly security updates which are meant to simply patch up security holes. This decision was made in an effort to make Android a more secure platform overall and eliminate huge security issues like what we saw with the Stagefright vulnerabilities. They have made good on the promise with a November security update. This update contains no new features. It specifically contains only security patches.

The updates will be available for the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5x, Nexus 6, Nexus Player, Nexus 9 LTE, Nexus Wi-Fi, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 LKTE, and Nexus 7 Wi-Fi. The OTA updates should be rolling out in short order. In the meantime you can grab the stock images and flash them manually from the link below.

I'll be waiting via OTA for this guy. Glad to see Google getting on those monthly security patches though.
