searching for an app

hey yall I'm new here I used to have a downloading app for my iphone which downloaded by just pressing play and it would give me an option to play or download I'm searching for an android downloading app that works like that but so far didn't find any

You are more familiar with the features you want in the app, so you would be best to know what will work for you. Open play store and try various keywords in the search. Could try with “movie download app." You will get several possibilities. You could also put in a search for the name of the app that you once had. There is a possibility that same app exists in the android version.

However, if you are looking for an app that'll help you download movies I'm guessing it's not a legitimate app. As stated in our guidelines of conduct, we do not support the sharing of pirated material:

15. Warez, Paid Apps for free, Paid Apps included in ROMs, the Sharing of Paid Apps for FREE is not allowed on Droidforums.

As far as I know, there's an app called Crackle you can download for free and watch their selection of movies and TV shows for free. However, I don't think it will let you download them.

edit: Sorry, Crackle does give you the option to buy the movies as well.
