How do I do just a simple search of my calendar, texts, etc? I would think that's pretty simple and obvious but, I haven't figured it out. When I do a voice search, it seems to go straight to Google and my phonebook and not my calendar. Newbie... :redface:

The android search box will search things like apps and contacts, but unfortunately not calendar or texts. (note: this is when you type in searches. voice search only searches the web)

My (free) app Searchify adds calendar search functionality to the phone's search box.

It also adds other features like wikipedia search, calculation, translation, unit conversion, and calendar entry, all to the search box as well.

(Searchify doesn't search texts, but you can search them by pressing the search button while in the text messaging screen.)
