SD Card?

After looking all over this thing and searching online (unsuccessfully), I'm pretty sure that the sim card and Micro SD cards go into the same little drawer. I'm not sure if this is a powered down only operation of if it's a hot-swap. Anyone figure this out yet?

Many modern phones incorporate the SIM and SD Card into the same drawer / receptacle. I have always been told, and practiced, that you never insert or remove a SIM card while the phone is powered on, only when it's off. Hope that helps.

micro sd card goes in the same drawer as the sims card on the note 8. as far as powering down to remove the sims, oops - that is something I don't do.
