SD Card

So I just bought a brand new micro SD.. My Droid detects it but for some reason file manager detects the internal storage files as SD and my sd card as SD-ext. So now the media file on my SD card is not appearing on my music player, only the ones on the internal storage shows up.. any solutions? I was thinking of moving all the files to SD-ext deleting the old folder and rename to replace it with..
