Still new to the android software and my phone and I have a question about how to get your music to go on your own personal SD card I have the samsung galaxy s 3.
For my Razr I plugged it into my computer and put it on MTP mode and Sync'd things with Windows Media Player, although I had to change the media sync storage to my external SD card instead of the internal one in the Settings>Storage
However I think you could just plug into your computer using Mass Storage Mode and copy and paste the files directly into the Music folder on your external SD card and they will be seen by your My Music App or whichever APP you use for music playing.
Also welcome to the forum and the world of Android.
To put your phone in myopia mode or mass storage mode , with phone plugged into your PC, pull down the notification bar on your phone and click on the USB mode icon.
