SD card access

Since the JB upgrade I cannot access my SD card...Tried unmounting and remounting. no good I pulled the card and checked it, it's good. (Data/pictures, etc are all there) Anyone else?

When you remove and replace the card, does the phone give any indication that it recognizes the card has been removed/inserted (icon in status bar)? This may be a case of needing to do a Factory Data Restore (FDR, also know as hard reset). If the upgrade signals the switch from working to not working it sounds like a failure in the upgrade. Perhaps a file was corrupted when upgrading and that is preventing the SD Card from being properly recognized.

pulled the card while turned on and got (unexpected removal of SD card" Plugged it back in. Went to gallery and got "No storage, No external storage available".

This did not make sense to me but, I ended up reformatting the internal SD and all the problems went away...:icon_ lala::biggrin:
