scroll bar size

for some reason the scroll bar on my pages is too narrow and I cannot scroll through the lists. Is there any way to make the scroll bar wider. You can see the bar in this pix on the right hand side:

I cannot seem to grab it with my finger to scroll. Any help would be appreciated
