screen won't come back on during call

my x2 won't turn the screen back on during a call when i go to end the call. my old x used to automatically turn the screen back on when i moved the phone. i have to hit the power button to get the screen back to end a call. is there a setting i'm missing?

You can try a couple things:

1) Download Elixir in the Market and test the proximity sensor. When the sensor detects something close, it should move to 3.0cm. It's basically a switch between close/far. So, you should see it go between 100cm/3.0cm as you move your hand closer and farther away from the sensor.

2) ##7764726 (##PROGRAM); enter SPC code 000000; scroll down to Proximity Sensor and make sure it is enabled from the factory

I believe the proximity sensor is disabled in speakerphone mode.

thank you! found my case is interfering with the proximity sensor. would have never thought of that. that elixir is one cool app.
