Screen will not time out

Yesterday I installed the newest version of Apex. It is awesome. One problem though, I have set the screen timeout in the display setting to 15 seconds but it will not timeout. The only way to turn off the screen is by pressing the button on the top of my X.

Any help is appreciated.

Warning: this post will not be helpful at all...

I had the exact opposite problem at one time. I could not turn my phone display off with the power button, I had to wait for the screen to timeout. Power button would turn it back on, but not off.

I think it turned out to be due to a theme I had installed. Maybe re-flash without clearing data, just clear cache and see what happens.
