Screen off widget?

I've been trying to find a widget to turn the screen off on my motodroid but cant seem to find one. I used to use lock 2.0, but I almost lost my phone the other day which has now caused me to start using the stock unlock pattern. If I use lock 2.0, when I get a sms, email or other notification I can then bypass the Lock 2.0 password to get to these notification apps, so bye bye Lock 2.0. I know it seems trivial but I hate having to reach around to the top button to turn off the screen/lock the phone. The skin/case I have makes pressing that button difficult. Has anyone seen a widget that simply turns the screen off?

My phone is also rooted so if there's some script that can be written or something then I'm all for that too.

You could always get the app screebl and then set your screen timeout to 15 seconds. Screebl is an app that allows your screen to stay on depending on the angle you are holding the phone in your hand. When you phone is not being held at one of the angles you determine, the screen will shut off.

I looked at screebl. It's an interesting app, but not quite what I had in mind. I'm looking for something I can put on the home screen, press the button and have the screen turn off (and thus lock the phone) instantly. Screebl is great if I'm sitting at my desk or something, but when I'm out walking around I'd like to be able to hit a button and drop it in my pocket. Even if I could change the camera button to do what the power button does that would work too (I rarely ever use my camera).

Little confused. If your willing to use the Camera button to lock / turn screen off then is there much of a difference in just hitting the power button???
