Screen Not Turning On?

Hello im new to these forums but i did some minor research about the droid x screen not being able to short out? thats how i understood it. Ne way my issue today is I was at a friends house, phone was on the floor(droid x rooted with liberty 2.1) and my friend had kicked over a drink near by my phone, maybe 3 drops of this beer got on my phone, wiped the screen clean, took off the back off the phone, verry little liquid inside the phone, the strip on the battery was red. let it dry and still today nothing, phone turns on, vibrates and all that, the controll panel on the bottom lights up just not the screen, did i ruin my phone???? if some one can help me out that would be great, people have told me they dropped there entire phone in the toilet and it still worked, mine bairly got wet if you need ne more information plz let me know.

Like an idiot i didnt insure :icon_evil: this EXPENSIVE phone so id like to get it fixed if at all possible

also, went to the bar and my other buddy had the same phone, took his battery and put it in my phone and was still getting the same issue so im thinkiing its the display on the phone or something

another thing, the phone rings, i swiped the unlock thing and just answered my phone so the touch screen has to be working, its gotta be something with the backlighting or display, not sure if it matters but usually a green light flashes on my phone now its blinking light blue please help me!!!!!
