Nope. I've long pressed on the paperclips, tried menu button from within the preview player... nothing

Check the market place for an app called save mms in the Market. I understand that should take care of this for you.

Nope. That's for mms. I'm trying to save from email.

Ugh must be having on off day. How didn't I think of that

Ok, there are 3 possible ways you can go with this.

1. What the above poster said...go to your browser and access your email from there.

2. Go to the app market and get K9 email client. It works for saving and forwarding attachments.

3. Tell the person who sent you the file to change the file extension to .jpg (only .jpg files are able to be saved for now with the gmail client for the Droid or the other email client). Then, go to your SD card where you saved the file and rename it to whatever the original file extension was for it (i.e. if the renamed file is Example.jpg rename it back to Example.mp3 if it was an .mp3 file originally).
