Samsung & Uber Team-Up to Offer Free Rides for Owners of Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge

If you are a proud new owner (or soon will be) of the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, and you have been curious to try out the ride-sharing "taxi-service" Uber, your ears might perk up at this news. Samsung and Uber have partnered up to offer some great value to owners of the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge who want to try Uber for the first time.

If you own one of these two new flagships from Samsung and are a first time customer of Uber, you can get your first ride for free (up to $25). This offer only applies to users in the US for now, but Uber plans to offer the discounts to users in other countries within the next few months. Here's a quote with a description of how the program works,

"How it works:

• Go to Galaxy Gifts on a Samsung Galaxy S6 or other Uber enabled handset.
• Download the Uber app and sign up.
• A $25 discount (in the US) is automatically added to the phone’s Uber account.
