Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 not turning on

Greetings,

Its a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE

I tried turning on the tablet but I cant seem to do that.
Its not charging but when it is plugged in I noticed that it was hot around the camera, I think that's where the battery connects on the inside.

Battery issues ?

This is a phone forum, however since I have a TAB 10.5, (non LTE) maybe I can make some suggestions. You are correct about the location of the battery and it does indicate it's likely charging. Have you tried a (very) long press of the power button?

See if plugging the power cable into a running computer for a few hours. You should expect to see anything happen during that time but try turning it on again after 4-5 hours of that trickle charge.

You may indeed have an issue with the battery or the charging circuit.
