Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Get Marshmallow Rollout in India

India is the next big rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge (and S6 Edge Plus). The beefy 1.2GB download includes the usual Android Marshmallow features as well as a few other nifty tidbits including:

• Doze
• Advanced app permissions
• Google Now on Tap contextual search
• A new Samsung web browser
• New TouchWiz user interface adjustments,
• More convenient quick toggles
• & More

Folks in India should expect the OTA to push out to their phone over the next few days. For the impatient, you can always check Settings > About device > Software update.

The update can't be too far away for other areas of the globe.
