Here at HQ. we always wonder why OEMs do this, because it can be incredibly frustrating. Samsung just announced two new color combinations for their Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Why couldn't they have simply released these options earlier? Now, if someone already "settled" for one of the previous colors, but they really love the new colors, they are stuck buying a whole new phone or keeping their "second best" choice.
Ah well... it's just a marketing-centric world, and we just live in it. Regardless, the two new colors for the Galaxy Note 5 are Silver Titanium and Pink Gold. These join the Black Sapphire, Peal White and Platinum Gold options. It's worth noting that these two new color options for the device are only available in South Korea at this time. There's no word on whether/if any other countries will get these new "flavors."
It's probably not too surprising that Sammy is offering the new Pink Gold option now that Apple released their Rose Gold iPhone 6S. Samsung is nothing if not a creature of habit. Here's a quote with a few more details,
The Silver Titanium model will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB capacities for 899,800 won ($800) and 965,800 won ($860) respectively. The Pink version will roll out with 64 GB of real estate and bear the same price tag as the 64-gig silver version.
Both will be available in South Korea by October 23rd, with the silver model likely to arrive a little earlier. ~ PhoneArena
