AT&T just officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will be coming to their network. They will have the device available on September 26th (2014). The phone will cost $612.99 without a contract or $199.99 with a two year contract. Alternatively, AT&T has a couple different Next programs which will allow you to purchase it with monthly installments:
  • $25.55 per month on AT&T Next18.
  • $30.65 per month on AT&T Next12.
  • $199.99 with a two-year agreement.
  • No annual commitment for $612.99.
Above is a video highlight of the device, and below is a link to AT&T's press release.

The specs on this phone definitely doesn't make it an 'alpha' phone. Maybe alpha in terms of the process before a beta test.
