Samsung Fascinate Unlock Pattern

I changed my original puzzel unlock to a pattern unlock and now cannot disable it. I have tried going to location & security, then to uncheck "require pattern" but it will not uncheck. What else should I try?

Once you uncheck it, it should pop up the screen for you to input your set pattern. Once you enter that pattern then the option should remain unchecked once it takes you back to the security settings screen.
