Samsung Fascinate Home Screen Rotate???

i heard we cant rotate the home screen to landscape. but when i had it in the desk cradle, and took it out, it was in landscape view for 5 min...so strange. there must be a way. when i use the 91Panda Home screen option, it has landscape for home screen. i wish the regular homescreen would landscape, and im thinking there is a way even though people say it doesnt. mine did it temporarily

The lack of home screen landscape mode comes from touchwiz. If you use an alternative launcher like launcherpro, then it is enabled. Others have noticed the temporary landscape mode when you come out of the desktop cradle too, but no one has figured out how to implement it in standard touchwiz. Not sure why samsung left this feature out of its phones as it seems pretty simplistic to implement.
