S4 rooted with hyperdrive update issues and foxfi crashing

Hey guys looking to figure this out. I picked up an S4 for the wife to replace her Razr, the S4 is rooted with hyperdrive and it says there is an update but the downloaded update wont open on the phone and Foxfi keeps crashing on start up... any help would be great!

Try clearing the cache of FoxFi and if that doesn't work try clearing the data.

As for the update, could it be the OTA update? It won't open because for that to install you need the stock ROM and it won't install on a custom ROM. Wonder why the devs didn't disable the OTA feature if this is the case...

Ive tried clearing cache and date and uninstall and reinstall... no luck. And it isnt the OTA update its an actual update from hyperdrive?

Don't know, I'm stock rooted.

Try executing PDANet rather than FoxFi to see if that makes a difference.

UUGGHH ok, I Unrooted and reverted back to stock firmware from here.

Foxfi now works but there is a system update and everytime it tries to update it says there is an error..... Any help would be great!

Maybe it thinks you are still rooted. Find the firmware here. Firmwares | SamMobile | Page 2

Root Checker says nope not rooted... that site doesnt have the SCH-I545....
