[Rumor] Picture Taken with Asus Nexus 7 Tablet Appears from Google Offices

While the above pic could probably not get any more boring for its content, its source is of particularly exciting interest. The photo (and a couple of others at the Picasa source link below) was supposedly taken using an Asus Nexus 7 tablet, which is very likely to be the first Nexus tablet from the Google and Asus partnership. Not only does the EXIF data of these photos seem to indicate that the device is the mythic Nexus 7 tablet, but also the source of these photos can be traced back to the Google Mountain View campus.

Additionally, we continue to hear rumors that this device will debut at Google's I/O conference at the end of June, and probably launch in July. If these pics are legit, they would indicate that a working product is already being passed around the Google offices, which further confirms this timeline.

Just as a reminder, we have a NexusTablet dedicated sister-site @ Nexus Tablet Forum.

Really? They couldn't have taken a picture of something more interesting than that? There's no way to even validate were that photo was truly taken since most office ceilings look like that...

If location data is embedded in the picture, then yes it is. Hints why it says "the EXIF data of these photos (snippet) can be traced back to the Google Mountain View campus." If you allow your cammera access to location data, the data is embedded with in the 1s and 0s(binary data) of that picture.
