If the images we have included in this story are accurate, then the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime won't appear that much different than its vanilla flavored sibling. As you can see, it utilizes the same back-plate design found on the current Galaxy S5, except the case is Aluminum instead of plastic. Other than that, the only other subtle differences we can see include the lack of a speaker grill on the back, and a different arrangement around the heart rate monitor.
Of course, along with the pics we have the ubiquitous hardware intel to go along with it. This info doesn't really add anything new. More than likely this premium version of the Galaxy S5 will have a display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. On top of that we could see either a Snapdragon 805 processor and/or the next Exynos octa-core, coupled with 3GB of RAM.
Of course, across the web folks are complaining that Samsung would introduce this phone as a separate "Prime" version instead of just launching the Galaxy S5 with these specs. The reality is likely that Samsung couldn't produce enough versions of this device to fulfill all the demand for it to be their more mainstream product. By making it an exclusive device they can limit its marketing as well as its supply to keep demand for it in check.
