There is an interesting new rumor floating around from last night. Apparently, we may soon see a new version of KitKat already. According to an Android modder named @LlabTooFeR on Twitter, a 4.4.1 version of Android KitKat will soon make its way to the Google Play Edition HTC One. If this is the case, then more than likely we will see it hit Nexus devices too.
We aren't too sure why Google would release a new version so quickly after the initial launch of KitKat, but we have seen some users reporting issues with Exchange on KitKat. Also, the Google Experience Launcher is currently exclusive to the Nexus 5. Perhaps this update addresses these and some other issues we are unaware of. For now we will categorize this as a rumor, but we will be on the lookout and let you know if we find out anything concrete.
