Previously, we reported that Intel was working on an x86 Honeycomb processor. It looks like 'Acer' may be the first manufacturer to show off a tablet based upon the design, and it may be at Computex, next week. The rumor from DigiTimes is that Acer will reveal a 10.1 inch, Oak Trail based Honeycomb tablet. Further rumors indicate that the tablet might actually be available as early as July. If this turns out to be true, it'll be interesting to see how Intel's chips compare, both in performance and battery consumption, to the usual chips in tablets.
