Do not use the non English version of z4Root. Too many problems.

I saw this and went and checked my version to see what I had. It doesn't show up in market. But its on my phone and in my uninstaller app. z4root that is. Still never used it.

What is a quick easy way to prove my Rooted phone is indeed rooted?

Check the app drawer for the superuser icon.

Actually i've noticed a few people who used z4root getting only half rooted, as in they had the su icon but it couldn't use it to grant permissions. My go to way is to download terminal emulator if you haven't already, and then type "su" and hit enter. It should ask for root rights and then the $ will turn to a #

Learning a little bit more about hacking my phone I discovered I can unroot it.. If I unroot, there should be no reason why my warranty would be voided.. Woo! These forums rock. I still have to look into the reason why I would want to do this, though..

Is there anyway to push it to my sd so when I sbf I won't lose it why was it pulld from market?

It was probably pulled from the market because of its ability to root so many phones so easily. You could use titanium backup to back it up or find it here if you lose it.

Ok so correct me if I'm wrong, titanium is a app, sbf removes everything including apps so how would titanium help me keep z4 after sbf?

Because titanium saves all apps and data to your sd card so after the sbf all you would do is root the phone and download titanium to restore all of your other apps.
