rooted with droidmod but it keeps telling me to update OTA and i dont want too!

First I thought that droidmod blocks the ota where I won't even get prompted, second it asks me so frequently its annoying. Thirdly, I haven't been on here for a while so sorry if been discussed.

It's been discussed. Just accept the update and then reboot from recovery. It won't install the the update and you will get back to droidmod1.0.

ok, so id do a nandroid backup right before I do the ota update to 2.1 then do a nandroid restore from the backup I did prior to doing the ota?

Just accept the ota, and it will throw you into recovery. From there, just reboot.
