I rooted my Samsung Fascinate, and now when I dock the phone in either the desk dock or the car dock, nothing happens. I somehow got the home button to be mapped to a different app, but it still doesn't go to any thing automatically.
I restored to unrooted factory settings and then when docked, it goes to the "official" Samsung apps, but even on an unrooted phone, it wouldn't let me change that.
Then as soon as I root (and nothing else), docking the phone does nothing, but the home button can still be custom mapped.
The question:
Is there something that I can install on my phone to bypass Samsung's egotistical restrictions?
