What ROM, and what version of that ROM are you running?
What kernel are you running?
What was the specific error message the app gave you?

Tha message its giveing me says my kernal dosent have the necessary features for access control

What kernel are you running?
Check by going to SETTINGS > ABOUT PHONE > KERNEL VERSION
It's close to the bottom of the ABOUT PHONE menu.

Also, did Wifi Tether ask for root permissions when you tried to run it?

Based on your kernel version, I think either your root failed or you are still on the stock ROM. To check if you're rooted - do you have an app called "Superuser" in your app drawer?

Did the Wifi Tether app ask for super user permission when you first started it up? Is it in the list of apps that have permission in the super user "app"?

If yes, honestly, I have no idea what could be wrong. Based on the error message, if it were me, I'd try using a different kernel.

Hey it works now but how do I lock it an is this tether free or em I gonna pay money for this. Cuz its says always running how do I put. A password for it?
