Several weeks ago Samsung decided to launch a beta program for testing out Marshmallow 6.0.1 on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in certain markets. Pretty quickly the beta build hit the net and was flashable through Odin. Yesterday developer "eltoffer" decided to release a prerooted version of the 6.0.1 beta file for the Galaxy S6 Edge. It should be noted that this will require that you be bootloader unlocked and have the proper version of TWRP installed to your device.
The installation for this is not the same as with installing most roms. You have to download the beta file and place it in your twrp backups folder. Then you will boot into recovery and restore the backup that you placed in the backup folder which is the 6.0.1 beta prerooted build. This has caused some to lose data. In which case you would roll back to the nandroid backup you made prior to flashing this build. Head to the link below for the full guide and download links.
