i ordered mine today, im new to rooting, but what is the advantage of rooting & what is a locked bootloader ?? what would i need to do to get teather for free, that would be the only reason i would root.

The answer on why you should or should not root is all over these forums and the web. Start doing your research. I wouldn't be helpful if I didn't get you searching yourself. As for wifi tether, once you root, get in touch with me via pm and ill point you in the right direction.

Is there anyway to unroot with gingerbreak?


Only asking because if there an an official release of Gingerbread I'd like to still be able to pick it up before I root, provided you cant unroot

If you open gingerbreak, it gives the options to root and unroot. Very simple & pain free.
