Root Info

OK. I spent the better part of 4 hours rooting my phone. I would do a part and read about the next part and so on. Anyways, its done. I used this guide:

My question is...now that I am rooted, what do I do? What are some cool things I can do? What do you all recommend I do first? I like being able to customize so where do I start?

Yes.

Also add WiFi tethering (used it at work today so I didn't have to surf on the Army connection with all the blocks especially here on this site) and overclocking to the list of things you can do.

That site takes you through everything including OverClocking... if you follow all the guide the only thing left that you would likely want to do is flash a custom ROM (if they didn't include that today, I haven't checked but it was in the works).

I have a question...I installed Home++ before I rooted and am having issues with it FCing on me...does it need to be reinstalled? And with regards to BB, is it just a theme? More or less?

I also looked into WiFi Tether and the tutorials use a lot of jargon that I don't quite understand...is there someone here that would be willing to call and walk me through it so I can understand it? LOL

Home++ is working near Flawlessly on BB. Before I flashed BB, however it was hit or miss.

And NO BB is not "just a theme" it is a custom built ROM. If that term (custom ROM) is unfamiliar to you spend some time in the "hack" section and do some searches to find out more.

I just wanted to let you all know I have rooted, installed BB and have WiFi tethering...pretty proud right now!
